Zubair Mallick is a seasoned public relations professional with over fourteen years of strategic communication experience. He joined Lotus in 2009 as a Publicist and has grown to become Managing Director, effectively leading and overseeing a diverse client portfolio spanning multiple sectors.
Zubair’s unwavering dedication to his craft is matched by his genuine passion for delivering innovative and impactful campaigns that drive tangible change. His instrumental role in the resounding success of Coke Studio, South Asia’s most compelling music platform, culminated in the prestigious Coca-Cola Global Excellence Award. Furthermore, he played a pivotal part in the introduction and expansion of L’Oréal Paris and L’Oréal Professionnel in Pakistan.
Throughout his career, Zubair has collaborated with some of the region’s most influential and inspiring personalities and organizations in the realms of entertainment, fashion, corporate and social sectors. Notably, he continues to serve as the primary strategist for the Academy Award-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
Zubair’s breadth of experience also extends to notable individuals and organizations, including Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, the Ministry of Law & Justice in Pakistan, Cheval Collection (UK), Samsung, Novartis, KeepTruckin, The Coca-Cola Company, PFDC Fashion Weeks et al.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Zubair boasts a solid academic foundation and a keen interest in film production. He holds the esteemed designation of Associated Chartered Certified Accountant and has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as a Diploma in Film Production from Pakistan’s National College of Arts.
Head of Digital Media Communications
Agha Sarmad is the Head of Digital Communications at Lotus.
He joined the team in 2017, and has grown his expertise across a diversity of sectors, including Corporate, Fashion, Lifestyle, Celebrity, Film, Food, Technology, Art, and NPO publicity campaigns. He spearheads Lotus’ digital work across the influencer, content creator and ideation spheres.
Agha continues to lead numerous international, regional and local campaigns and projects for Lotus, including heading the Coca-Cola Pakistan & Afghanistan account since 2021 and leading the L’Oréal Pakistan account and all its sub-brands for four years, among many others. His work has been recognised by the global PRNews awarding body.
Prior to Lotus, Agha has worked in health technology with CureMD and in beverage and distribution with Coca-Cola İçecek. He holds a BBA Hons. degree, with majors in Marketing and Media, from Lahore School of Economics.
Strategic Communications Manager
Mughees Tahir is a Strategic Communications Manager at Lotus Client Management and Public Relations.He has over 12 years of experience in community building, brand management, operations and partnerships. His areas of interest are public relations, sustainability and commercial viability.
Mughees’ past experiences include Senior Program Manager at Punjab Information Technology Board, Program Manager at Information Technology University, Visiting Faculty at University of Central Punjab Management School and Assistant Manager Client Services at M Communications.
He has an MSc in International Strategic Marketing from University of Glasgow and A BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from Forman Christian College. He is also an entrepreneur and has brought his own ideas to life within the domains of retail, event coverage and online booking.
Mughees has a keen interest in technology startups and built the largest network of startup incubators across Pakistan. He still contributes his time as a mentor and trainer for founders whenever he has time.
Strategic Communications Manager
Sarmad Iqbal is a Strategic Communications Manager at Lotus Client Management and Public Relations, specializing in the fields of Corporate Communications, Political Public Relations, and Sustainability.
He is an accomplished journalist and communications manager with over a decade of experience in Pakistan’s leading organizations in both fields.
As a print journalist, Sarmad has led the Editorial, Newsroom, and investigative reporting departments, overseeing editorial policy, layout, recruitment, and the daily publishing cycle. Sarmad’s experience extends to setting up a brand-new digital news organization, integrating digital tools to facilitate data journalism, and efficient financial reporting.
Beyond traditional journalism, Sarmad has also served as communications manager and project manager for national and international development sector NGOs. He has also used his skills as a communicator to serve as a marketing consultant for several consumer brands.
Additionally, he is an award-winning public speaker who has coached at multiple universities and schools, teaching the art of logical argumentation and effective rhetoric.
Zaibunnisa Khan Sudozai
Zaibunnisa Khan Sudozai joined Lotus in 2019, and has grown to play a pivotal role in the success of a diversity of PR and marketing campaigns. At Lotus she continues to work with multinational clients in the personal care and beverage industries respectively, with a specific strategic skill in developing and managing influencer campaigns.
At Lotus, Zaibunnisa’s expertise has also extended to campaign planning and execution for prominent organizations such as the Samson Group of Companies, Malam Jabba Ski Resort, Coca-Cola and the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, spearheading both local and international projects.
Prior to her tenure at Lotus, Zaibunnisa served as a data analyst at Odetta, an American tech-enabled business process outsourcing firm specializing in startups. As an entrepreneur, she also has a bakery business, “Whisk it,” showcasing her drive for innovation and business acumen. Zaibunnisa Khan Sudozai has a bachelor’s degree in media from the historic Forman Christian College.
Mehak Malik is a Senior Publicist at Lotus. She continues to work with a diverse range of clients, including corporate, entertainment and FMCG brands, and is known for her ability to craft creative and engaging communications strategies that help her clients achieve their business objectives.
With a major in marketing from SZABIST, Mehak is well-versed in the principles of marketing and uses her knowledge to develop communications strategies that are effective and impactful. She has a particular interest in content writing and has worked on numerous projects and events where she has demonstrated her ability to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences.
Mehak is also passionate about making a positive social impact through her work and has been involved in several CSR initiatives where she has used her communications skills to help clients create meaningful change.
Mehak is a skilled communicator with a talent for building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and her dedication and hard work have earned her a reputation as a trusted and effective communications professional.
Zahra Kazi is an Executive Publicist at Lotus Client Management and Public Relations.
With an initial career background in journalism, Zahra worked as lead of an editorial team at a prominent broadsheet,over seeing the daily publishing cycle, managing established writers, determining editorial policy, managing social media accounts and collaborating with a diversity of government departments,public and private organisations. She has also had experience in the scouting, recruitment and sourced training of future writers.
She transitioned into consulting and project management, with a focus on strategic engagement and planning.
Zahra has a bachelor’s degree in History from the prestigious Lahore University of Management Sciences, specialising in South Asian region. She continues to work on the preservation of history through multiple avenues.
Muizz Ahmad is an Associate Publicist at Lotus, specializing in the fields of Influencer Marketing and Communications with a specific lens on Gen Z.
Prior to his tenure at Lotus, Muizz worked on ideation, content creation and social media management for clients in the fields of Fintech and music media.
An entrepreneur, Muizz has owned and operated his own restaurant, with 360-degree approach ranging from the culinary to the operational.
